Honda BR-V

Automobiles

Honda has made the BR-V, a subcompact crossover SUV sold mainly in emerging markets, since 2016. While being dimensionally bigger, the BR-V is positioned below the more advanced international market HR-V. The first generation model shares its platform with the second generation Mobilio, which itself is based on the lengthened Brio platform, while the second generation is built on a separate platform from the Mobilio, shared with the second generation Amaze and the WR-V instead. Developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific in Thailand, it has been manufactured and assembled in several Asian countries and is sold in Brunei, Mexico and South Africa. Honda says BR-V stands for Bold Roundabout Vehicle. This site lists a page for every model year in the span covered here, each focused on what changed in that year, grouped into 2 generations: the first generation (2016 to 2020 model years); the second generation (2021 to 2026 model years). Each year page links to its generation, to this model page, to the previous model year and to Honda.
