The 2016 model year was the last of the fourth generation Honda CR-V in North America. Indonesia gained a version of the 2.4L automatic Prestige with Fender audio in January 2016, and Japan ended the fourth generation in August 2016, leaving the CR-V off the Japanese market for two years.
