China Railway CR300AF

The CR300AF is a Fuxing electric multiple unit developed for the China Railway High-speed network and ordered by China Railway from CRRC Qingdao Sifang. Design reviews for the CR300 series began in early 2018, and in March 2020 the National Railway Administration approved CRRC Nanjing Puzhen for mass production of the type, the first time that company was qualified to build high-speed trains. Passenger service began on 25 December 2020 on the Kunming to Dali line, and the type began running on the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway in April 2021. A trainset has one first-class car and seven second-class cars with room for 613 passengers, a shorter nose than the CR400AF, a sky blue livery that gives it the nickname Blue Sister, Wi-Fi and power outlets throughout.
