Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturers

Porsche is a German maker of sports cars founded in Stuttgart by the engineer Ferdinand Porsche, who earlier designed the Volkswagen Beetle. After the Second World War his son Ferry built the 356, and in 1964 the company introduced the rear-engined 911, which has stayed in production through many generations. Porsche also produced the Carrera GT supercar and later added sport utility vehicles and electric models, and it belongs to the Volkswagen group.
