Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturers

Handley Page was a British aircraft maker, founded in 1909 by Frederick Handley Page, and the first company in Britain to be listed as an aircraft manufacturer. It specialised in large bombers and airliners, among them the O/400 of the First World War, the Halifax of the Second World War and the Victor jet bomber. The firm also developed leading-edge slats and made the HP.115 research delta, but it was liquidated in 1970.
