1984 Honda XR Series

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

In 1984 the XR250R returned with an all new engine, the Radial Four Valve Chamber (RFVC), of 250 cc with a bore and stroke of 75 mm by 56.5 mm. For the 1984 and 1985 model years the XR200R used a smaller version of the same four-valve RFVC engine as the other XRs. The 1984 XR500RE was the last 500cc XR, superseded in 1985 by the larger XR600R. This page belongs to the Honda XR Series (1979 to 1984), 1979 to 1984 model years; the generation page and the Honda XR Series model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
