The XRV750 replaced the XRV650 in 1990, which ended its short run. The XRV650 had a slightly tuned 650cc engine similar to the Honda Transalp and high specification chassis components, and was later entered in the marathon class of the Paris Dakar Rally with an aftermarket larger tank. It is the most sought after model of the Africa Twin XRV range. This page belongs to the Honda XR Series (1985 to 1999), 1985 to 1999 model years; the generation page and the Honda XR Series model page link to the other model years, so the changes of neighbouring years can be read in order.
