Honda VFR800 (fifth generation, VFR800Fi RC46)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

The fifth-generation VFR, the VFR800Fi code RC46, has an engine only 34 cc larger than the VFR750F's, but the wider bore and shorter stroke make it both more powerful and more oversquare than the bike it replaced. The engine was not a direct development of the carbureted VFR750F engine but had less power than the RC45's fuel injected engine of 1994, on which it was based, with two radiators mounted at the sides. Its frame was derived from the VTR1000 Firestorm and retained the trademark single-sided swingarm. Each model year has its own page.
