The Juno K was Honda's first scooter, a deliberately elaborate bike in 1954 that would compete with the well established Fuji Rabbit and Mitsubishi Silver Pigeon. It had the first electric start, a windscreen of full size with a sun-shade that tilts back, signal lamps built in, and it brought Fibre-Reinforced Plastic bodies to Japan. Only 5,980 were produced in a year and a half, and technology developed for it was applied to later bikes.
