1999 Honda Gold Wing

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda put 50th Anniversary emblems on every 1999 Gold Wing, to commemorate 50 years in America, and the price of the GL1500A rose. The American built GL1500SE exported to Japan got two tone paint and, more significantly, carburetor modifications with an exhaust air injection system so that it would pass Japan's new emission regulations. The Valkyrie Interstate, a touring version with full fairing, saddlebags and trunk, was introduced in 1999.
