The NC23 and NC29 are the CBR400RR models: the J (1988), K (1989), L (1990 and 1991), N (1992 and 1993) and R (1994). The bodywork of the CBR400RR-J shows the name Tri-Arm, together with Hurricane, but the CBR400RR-K dropped the Hurricane name. People called it the Baby Blade replica in 1992, and in 1994 its styling was made to resemble the CBR900RR or Fireblade closely. It preceded the 900 cc Fireblade by four model years and went through one major rework, signified by a new gull-arm swingarm. Each model year has its own page.
