Volvo VCC

Automobiles

The Volvo VCC is a concept car from Volvo Personvagnar that was shown in 1980. It was part of the 760 project, which became reality when the Volvo 760 was launched in 1982, and it clearly shows the features of the 760, so it can be seen as Volvo's way of testing the coming model on the public. The concept car was a station wagon, whereas the 760 was released as a four door sedan with a characteristic upright, almost flat rear window. The VCC can still be found today in the Volvo Museum in Gothenburg.
