The AMC Eagle was a compact four wheel drive passenger vehicle that American Motors Corporation made for the 1980 through 1987 model years in a single generation, continued by Chrysler Corporation for 1988. It was introduced in August 1979 as coupe, sedan and station wagon versions of the Concord, was the only four wheel drive passenger car produced in the United States, and is widely recognized as the first crossover vehicle. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1980 to 1988).
