The Japanese E160 went on sale in May 2012 with slightly smaller exterior dimensions to suit older drivers in narrow alleys and car parks. The sedan Axio and wagon Fielder were built by the Toyota subsidiary Central Motors in Miyagi Prefecture. This was the first model year of the Toyota Corolla (eleventh generation, E160 to E180), 2012 to 2017, which took over from the Toyota Corolla (tenth generation, E140 and E150); the 2013 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Corolla run from 1966 to 2026.
