In June 1991 the Corolla was redesigned to be larger, heavier and smoothly rounded. In the United States it now counted as a compact, a coupe stayed on in some markets as the AE101 Levin, and carburetors were mostly retired with this generation. This was the first model year of the Toyota Corolla (seventh generation, E100), 1991 to 1994, which took over from the Toyota Corolla (sixth generation, E90); the 1992 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Corolla run from 1966 to 2026.
