1982 Toyota Corolla

Automobiles

The 1982 update was the most extensive of the generation, with a new sloping nose, wraparound headlights, new tail lights and bumpers, some of them rubber moulded. Japan got the 1C diesel in the sedan in February, and Win Percy took the British Saloon Car Championship in an E70 Corolla GT. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Corolla (fourth generation, E70), 1979 to 1982, and the Toyota Corolla (fifth generation, E80) came next, following the 1981 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Corolla run from 1966 to 2026.
