Opel 29/50 PS

Automobiles

The Opel 29/50 PS was an upper-class car that Adam Opel KG built only in 1908. Its four-cylinder block side-valve T-head engine displaced 7,482 cc and produced 50 PS (37 kW) at 1500 rpm. Power reached the rear axle through a clutch, a manual gearbox and a propeller shaft. The chassis frame was built from sheet-steel U-sections, with both rigid axles hung on semi-elliptical leaf springs. It was offered as a touring car, a limousine or a landaulet. It followed the Opel 32/50 PS and was followed by the Opel 30/50 PS. Production ended in 1908.
