The Opel 18/30 PS was a upper-class car that Adam Opel KG built from 1907 to 1909 as the successor of the 25/30 PS. It was built to Opel's own design and no longer under the Darracq licence, although its engine matched that of its predecessor. Its four-cylinder side-valve engine cast as two blocks displaced 4,730 cc and produced 30 PS (22 kW) at 1,400 rpm. Power passed through a leather cone clutch, a manual 3-speed gearbox and a propeller shaft to the rear axle. It was offered as a two-door coupe, a four-seat double phaeton, a four-door saloon or a landaulet. The coupe, the cheapest body, cost 13,000 reichsmarks. It was built until early 1909 and then discontinued without a successor.
