The Aston Martin Mark II was a car built by Aston Martin from 1934 to 1936, 148 in all. It was introduced at the London motor show in 1934 and was in essence an evolution of the Le Mans model, with an engine, chassis and body that were all substantially developed: the chassis was stiffened to improve handling and the engine given more power. It had an inline four-cylinder single overhead camshaft engine of 1.5 litres producing 73 horsepower, and bodies were offered as a roadster, a cabriolet and a saloon. Two chassis lengths were sold, and the short-chassis version belonged to the sports car category.
