Opel Combo (Combo A, 1986 to 1993)

Automobiles

The Combo A was the Opel Kadett Combo, the three-door panel van body style of the Opel Kadett E, introduced in January 1986 and finished in August 1993. It was built in the United Kingdom at Ellesmere Port by Vauxhall until January 1989, when it was facelifted with a new grille separate from the bumper and production moved to Azambuja in Portugal, where Opel built the vans. In Germany it was sold with a 1.3 litre petrol engine, later 1.4, or a 1.6 litre diesel, later 1.7, and some countries also had a 90 PS 1.6-litre petrol. In the UK the estate-based van was the Bedford and Vauxhall Astravan and the high roof van was the Astramax.
