In March 1975 the two door version of the Toledo was dropped, and the four door model continued in production for another year, but in improved specification form. In March 1975 the TC also received the higher compression and now boasted 71 brake horsepower. The facelifted Toledo of 1975 introduced the dashboard design later used on the Dolomite. The Toledo was in its sixth year. The four door model went on after the two door left.
