The larger Tundra was launched in January 2007 in thirty one configurations made up of three bed lengths, three cab configurations and several engines, using styling cues from the Tacoma and the FTX concept truck designed by Craig Kember in 2003. Trailer Boats named it Tow Vehicle of the Year for 2007. This was the first model year of the Toyota Tundra (second generation, XK50), 2007 to 2021, which took over from the Toyota Tundra (first generation, XK30 and XK40); the 2008 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Tundra run from 2000 to 2026.
