The sixth generation was revealed on 20 and 21 May 2025 in Japan, Canada and the United States and is the first RAV4 whose range is fully electrified, with either a fifth generation hybrid or a sixth generation plug-in hybrid drivetrain. Production began in late 2025, with deliveries for the 2026 model year in North America and Japan and in China from November 2025. It keeps the length and width of the car before it, on a reworked GA-K platform, and is sold in China as the Wildlander.
