Automobiles

The fourth generation was first shown in Las Vegas in September 2015 and reached Japanese buyers on 9 December 2015. It was the first Prius on the TNGA platform, and the E-Four all wheel drive system, later sold in America, had been available on the Japanese Prius from 2015. This was the first model year of the Toyota Prius (fourth generation, XW50), 2015 to 2022, which took over from the Toyota Prius (third generation, XW30); the 2016 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Prius run from 1997 to 2025.
