A second facelift of the Prius c was released in 2017 with subtle changes, including a reshaped bonnet, re sculpted bumpers, redesigned LED c shaped tail lamps and revised wheel arches. In November 2017 Toyota released the Aqua GR Sport in Japan as the direct successor of the Aqua G's. It was model year 7 of 9 in the Toyota Prius c (first generation), 2011 to 2020, coming after the 2016 model year and before the 2018 model year.
