In April 2001 the Nadia had a minor change, when the new generation D-4 engine, the 1AZ-FSE, was installed in the two wheel drive vehicle. The headlamp and taillamp design was changed, some grades received discharge headlamps, and the interior had an analog Optitron meter and wide 2DIN audio. It was model year 3 of 5 in the Toyota Nadia (single generation), 1998 to 2003, coming after the 2000 model year and before the 2002 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Nadia run from 1998 to 2003.
