Production of the Toyota MR2 ended in 2007, completing the third generation and the 23 years of the nameplate that began in 1984. Some Final Edition cars with a burgundy soft top marked the end of the line, after the 2006 model year sales that had included the V-Edition limited run of 1000 units sold only in Japan and the TF300 editions sold only in the United Kingdom. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota MR2 (third generation, W30), 2000 to 2007, following the 2006 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota MR2 run from 1984 to 2007.
