The ninth generation X110 Mark II arrived in 2000. Every Mark II and Cressida had been made at the Motomachi plant at Toyota, Aichi, from September 1968 to October 1993, and at Toyota Motor Kyushu's Miyata plant from December 1992 to October 2000. This was the first model year of the Toyota Mark II (ninth generation, X110), 2000 to 2004, which took over from the Toyota Mark II (eighth generation, X100); the 2001 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Mark II run from 1968 to 2004.
