Toyota Land Cruiser (55 series, J50)

Automobiles

The Land Cruiser 55 was produced from 1967 to 1980, and Toyota refers to the FJ55G and FJ55V as the first real station wagon in the Land Cruiser series, marking the beginning of the station wagon body style. It was the first Land Cruiser to have fully enclosed box frame members, and was colloquially known as the Moose, with a longer wheelbase of 2,700 mm designed mainly for North America and Australia. In January 1975 the F series engine was replaced by the 2F, and production ended in July 1980.
