1967 Toyota Land Cruiser

Automobiles

Production of the FJ55 began in 1967, a four door station wagon version based on the FJ40's drivetrain, replacing the four door FJ45V and colloquially known as the Moose, with a longer wheelbase designed mainly for North America and Australia. It was the first Land Cruiser to have fully enclosed box frame members. This was the first model year of the Toyota Land Cruiser (55 series, J50), 1967 to 1979, which took over from the Toyota Land Cruiser (40 series, J40); the 1968 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Land Cruiser run from 1951 to 2026.
