In February 2019 Toyota introduced a Heritage edition of the Land Cruiser at the Chicago Auto Show as part of the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the FJ40, building only 1200 vehicles as a 5 seater sold in the United States. In August 2019 cumulative global sales of the Land Cruiser family surpassed 10 million units. It was model year 7 of 8 in the Toyota Land Cruiser (200 series, J200), 2007 to 2020, coming after the 2018 model year and before the 2020 model year.
