The third generation XU60 Harrier was released on 2 December 2013 in Japan for the petrol model, replacing the XU30 and the XA30 series Vanguard. It morphed into an independent model line constructed on a separate platform from the RX, retaining a visual link with it. This was the first model year of the Toyota Harrier (third generation, XU60), 2013 to 2019, which took over from the Toyota Harrier (second generation, XU30); the 2014 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Harrier run from 1997 to 2026.
