The second generation Harrier, the XU30, debuted in February 2003, along with the export Lexus version. It remained a crossover SUV for the Japanese market under Toyota dealerships. This was the first model year of the Toyota Harrier (second generation, XU30), 2003 to 2012, which took over from the Toyota Harrier (first generation, XU10); the 2004 model year follows it.
