In 2007 Toyota Thailand dropped the 4x4 petrol model and replaced it with a two wheel drive petrol version, and the 2.5 G model was added in Indonesia powered by a 2.5 liter diesel rated at 75 kW. The Fortuner was launched in Colombia and Ecuador in 2007. It was model year 4 of 11 in the Toyota Fortuner (first generation, AN50 and AN60), 2004 to 2014, coming after the 2006 model year and before the 2008 model year.
