The tenth generation S150 was launched in 1995 with boxier styling than its predecessor and was built only as a sedan and a hardtop with frameless door windows. The wagon kept the old S130 chassis until 1999, and in Indonesia the 2.0 liter engine of the S130 was replaced by a 3.0 liter 2JZ-GE. This was the first model year of the Toyota Crown (tenth generation, S150), 1995 to 1998, which took over from the Toyota Crown (ninth generation, S140); the 1996 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Crown run from 1955 to 2026.
