In September 1985 the Crown dropped its turbocharged M series engine and took on a supercharged two liter G series six in its place. The S120 was by then in its third year in Japan, where it was on offer with several engines from carbureted to twin cam. It was model year 3 of 4 in the Toyota Crown (seventh generation, S120), 1983 to 1986, coming after the 1984 model year and before the 1986 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Crown run from 1955 to 2026.
