The T220 was the South American Corona of 1997, a separate line alongside the Japanese T210 Corona Premio. In Europe the T190 Corona ended at the end of 1997, when it was replaced by the Avensis, which was also built at Burnaston. It was model year 2 of 5 in the Toyota Corona (tenth generation, T210), 1996 to 2001, coming after the 1996 model year and before the 1998 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Corona run from 1957 to 2001.
