1985 Toyota Corolla

Automobiles

The May 1985 facelift gave the E80 bigger headlights like the coupes and replaced the 1.3 liter engine with a new 12 valve 2E unit in most markets. From 1985 NUMMI in California began building a rebadged Sprinter sedan as the Chevrolet Nova, and the rear drive AE86 started rallying in Group A. It was model year 3 of 4 in the Toyota Corolla (fifth generation, E80), 1983 to 1986, coming after the 1984 model year and before the 1986 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Corolla run from 1966 to 2026.
