The white version of the third generation Century was introduced as the headquarters car or chairman's car at the 95th Hakone Ekiden in 2019, and the black version was exhibited at the 2019 Tokyo Auto Salon. A special order Convertible was used for the coronation of the Emperor Naruhito on 10 November 2019. It was model year 2 of 3 in the Toyota Century (third generation, G60), 2018 to 2022, coming after the 2018 model year and before the 2020 model year. From 1967 to 2020, the Century was assembled at the Higashi-Fuji plant (Susono, Shizuoka) owned by Kanto Auto Works and its successor Toyota Motor East Japan.
