The second generation Lexus LS 400, the UCF20, debuted in November 1994 for the 1995 model year with a longer wheelbase and similar specifications as the original model. Its more aerodynamic body had a drag coefficient of 0.28 and was the work of the Calty Design Research center in the United States. Production of the UCF20 ran from October 1994 to July 1997, and the Celsior carried the same body in Japan.
