For 2022 the Nightshade package, a blacked out appearance option, was extended to the hybrid, and the TRD trim got a new exclusive color. The top engine remained the 3.5 liter V6 with 301 horsepower. The facelifted Camry reached Malaysia on 17 February 2022 and Brunei in May 2022. It was model year 5 of 7 in the Toyota Camry (eighth generation, XV70), 2018 to 2024, coming after the 2021 model year and before the 2023 model year.
