The fourth generation Alphard and the third generation Vellfire were released on 21 June 2023, and demand was so huge that orders were suspended in late 2023 when the wait time for delivery extended to a year. The plug in hybrid variant was announced in Japan on 20 December 2024, with sales commencing on 31 January 2025. The Indonesian market Alphard was launched at the 30th Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show on 10 August 2023.
