Lexus LX J200 (third generation)

Automobiles

The third generation Lexus LX, J200, was debuted by Lexus as the 2008 model year LX 570 at the New York International Auto Show on 4 April 2007. It was a complete redesign and the first version to appear before its expected Land Cruiser counterpart. The design by Shinichi Hiranaka was approved in 2004, and he also did the design update approved in 2010. It has a 5.7 litre 3UR-FE V8 engine certified to the UL EV-II standard, with a power output of 286 kilowatts and 546 newton metres of torque. The more powerful engine gives an increased towing capacity of up to 3,900 kilograms, and it is tied to a six-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission with an all-new four-wheel-drive system using a Torsen centre differential.
