The 2006 Tribeca was initially rated at 18 miles per gallon on the EPA city cycle and 23 on the highway. It won Ward's Auto 2006 Interior of the Year for premium priced crossover utility vehicles. The 2006 and 2007 North American B9 Tribeca also had smaller wing mirrors that were upgraded to the larger European market mirrors starting in model year 2008. The Tribeca was released in some markets, including Canada, as the Subaru B9 Tribeca.
