In 2008 the Pleo remained on sale in its last years as the first generation, with the Van A as the only trim level, following the end of the F model in 2007. It was a tall wagon style kei car, taller than a regular kei hatchback but shorter than a microvan, with a four cylinder 658 cc engine in a small, simple range. The Pleo was available with a variety of 658 cc I4 engines: SOHC, DOHC, and supercharged in two different trim levels.
