Subaru Baja (first generation)

Automobiles

The Baja combined the handling and passenger carrying characteristics of a traditional passenger car with the open bed versatility and load capacity of a small pickup. Its unibody design borrowed heavily from the mechanicals, platform and sheet metal of the Legacy and Outback wagon, in a package 150 millimeters longer than an Outback, with a four seat cabin and a 1,050 millimeter open bed. Production began on 18 July 2002 as a 2003 model. Its model years run from 2002 to 2006.
