The Acura ARX-01, later known as the HPD ARX-01, is a series of Le Mans Prototypes built for sports car racing in the American Le Mans Series, the Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was the first purpose-built race car from the Acura division of Honda, part of a multi-year program toward endurance racing, and it debuted in the American Le Mans Series in 2007 before expanding to customers in Europe. Acura planned to use customer chassis from Lola and Courage for the first year with an engine built by Honda Performance Development, then its own chassis. Each specification of the chassis has a letter suffix, and in 2010 Acura withdrew its name while Honda Performance Development continued the program into 2011.
