The Simca-Fiat 11 CV was a large French car built under Fiat licence from 1934, taken directly from the Fiat 518 Ardita and its whole chassis. SAFAF built it first as the Fiat française 11 CV F, and it became the Simca-Fiat once Simca took over in spring 1935. It was sold as a four-door saloon with a centre pillar and as a cabriolet, with a seven-seat saloon listed in 1936. Its 1,944 cm3 Fiat four-cylinder engine gave 54 hp from 1936 for a top speed of about 120 km/h, with hydraulic drum brakes on all four wheels. Production in France between 1934 and 1937 reached about 2,200 cars, and the model was never replaced because Simca turned to the middle of the market with the Simca 8.
