The Rambler Classic was an intermediate size car that American Motors Corporation built and marketed from the 1961 through the 1966 model years in three generations. The 1961 Classic line replaced the Rambler Six and Rambler Rebel V8 names, and the line was replaced by the Rebel, with Motor Trend selecting AMC's Classic line for the 1963 Car of the Year award. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the first generation (1961 to 1962); the second generation (1963 to 1964); the third generation (1965 to 1966).
