The Eagle Medallion was an adaptation for American buyers of Renault's European 21 range, a front wheel drive mid size sedan and wagon imported from France. American Motors sold it as the Renault Medallion for the 1988 model year, and after Chrysler bought AMC it was rebranded as an Eagle for 1989, Chrysler's first new brand since 1955, before Chrysler stopped importing it at the end of that year. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the only generation (1988 to 1989).
